About The Ridge
The Shimla Ridge,At the center of the town .it offers fabulous views of the mountain peaks of the land. Jakhoo Hill is situated 2 km from Shimla ,Himachal Tourism,is the highest peak in the entire hill station offers fascinate view of the city and snow mesmerize  Himalayan Mountains. The 8000 ft Jakhoo Hill is a glorious tourist attraction that is visited by nature lovers and  as well as. It is home to the ancient Jakhoo Temple, which has a large statue of Kesari Nandan, its chief deity of Bajrangbali. Situated at an level of 8500 ft. above of the sea level,and 108 feet tall statue has magic-eye to drive away the birds.

  • About Kalka–Shimla Railway
Kalka- Shimla Railway is a World Heritage Site along with the Mountain Railways of India. It was build by British in the year 1898 to connect Shimla with other railway lines of India . It runs from Kalka  to Shimla. Kalka is a haryana’s town . A rail trip through this line will give the viewers some breathtaking views and the journey through many tunnels and bridges would make up for an unforgettable experience. many tourist places visitor can enjoy during journey like Summer Hill, Solan and many more.

Christ Church has been an important part of Shimla's spectacle. It is  admirable example of architecture of neo-gothic , Located on The Ridge, it was built in the year 1857 and it took almost 3 years to complete this sensational architecture. Some of the attractions of this church are the stained glass windows, the clock tower and the frescos. It has been a part of many Bollywood Films like Black and 3 Idiots. also houses the largest pipe organ in India.

6. Indian Institute Of Advanced Study

Rashtrapati Niwas The Indian Institute of Advanced Study , housed in the famous Viceregal Lodge located on top of the Observatory Hill at Himachal Tourism.  The year 1965 saw the formulation of Indian Institute of Advanced Study here by Dr. Radhakrishnan.The building was constructed between 1880 and 1888 during British reign.

Summer Hill a quaint town located on the outskirts of Shimla,Potter’s Hill is also called as Summer Hill . In the past, this was where potters used to gather clay to make pots. At a height of 1283 meter above sea level, Summer Hill offers astonishing views of the valley and the greenery around.The hill is a part of a cluster of seven hills, which form Shimla and hence you are sure to have breathtaking sights from the top. It is 5 km far from the famous Shimla  Ridge.

Annandale, also referred to as Annadale,it is the one of the star attractions of Shimla.from Shimla Ridge It is around 4 km far. This flat terrain was once the playground for the British, who played cricket and polo  at here. Now, the racecourse is converted into a small golf course, which is also used as a heli-pad.

10. The Shimla State Museum
